LSE "Shaping and Recoding The World" Gala Dinner, Kuala Lumpur

The London School of Economics Alumni Society of Malaysia is hosting our annual dinner for alumni to reconnect and network while indulging in a night of food and learning. In keeping with past dinners, lucky draw prizes cumulatively worth tens of thousands will be up for grabs.

Building on LSEASM’s past LSE Recode events, the event will begin at 6pm with a Houghton Street Showcase where Malaysian LSE technopreneurs will showcase their high growth companies and interact with guests over networking drinks.

After guests are seated and dinner is served, LSE’s Vice President and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education), Professor Emma McCoy will share insights on Artificial Intelligence, ChatGPT and the future of education followed by a Q&A with the audience. Prof. McCoy is a faculty member of the LSE Department of Statistics with current research interests in time series and causal inference, with a particular focus on how best to use data to inform intervention policies in transport applications.

Thereafter, LSEASM and LSE Generate, the LSE’s venture investment affiliate will conduct the Beaver’s Pitch, inviting LSE Alumni to share their pitches with the dinner audience.

The dinner will be interspersed with Lucky Draws where travel, F&B and other attractive prizes will be awarded to the lucky winners.

Tickets: Net proceeds to go towards LSEASM educational initiatives
