About the Event
Who gets a seat at the table and are we building boards for where the world is going, or where it has been?
LSE Alumni Society of Malaysia, in collaboration with 30% Club Malaysia, brings together board leaders and alumni to explore what board-ready means today: who gets considered, what boards need now and how we widen the pathways to board leadership. Because the goal isn't simply better representation. It's better boards.
Rationale: This panel aims to explore how governance itself is evolving and why organisations today require boards that are not only qualified, but also adaptive, curious and reflective of the realities of the communities, customers and economies they serve. The discussion also seeks to encourage alumni and emerging leaders to think beyond career success alone, and to consider how they can contribute meaningfully to stewardship, governance and nation-building through future board and advisory roles.
